Unlike Toggl or RescueTime, Time Tracker Pro requires no account and stores 100% of your data locally in your browser (via IndexedDB). It is also completely free (no paywalls for invoices or website blocking) and does not send any of your browsing history to third-party servers.

Traditional time trackers upload your detailed browsing logs to their databases, raising significant privacy concerns. By using local IndexedDB storage, Time Tracker Pro guarantees that your records remain under your control, cannot be sold or leaked, and work offline seamlessly.

Will my existing data be affected by updates? +
No. Updates preserve all your existing data. Your browsing history, categories, projects, and settings remain untouched. We use IndexedDB versioning to handle schema changes gracefully.
Can I export my data? +
Yes! You can export your activity data in CSV or JSON format for any date range. Perfect for client reports, external analysis, or keeping backups. You can also import data from a JSON file.
Every single byte of your browsing data stays in your browser's local storage (IndexedDB). There are no servers. No cloud sync. No analytics we collect from you. Not even an account to create.
The only external requests are Google Fonts (for the UI) and Google's favicon service (for site icons). That's it. We built this for people who are fed up with tools that monetize their data.
